A body of work centered on a “Black consciousness of space,” understood as attention to the material and metaphysical conditions of decolonisation. A “paradisciplinary” practice that investigates the politics of space through what Dennis calls a “system-specific” approach, aimed at revealing the hidden structures that predetermine the limits of social and political imagination. Their work recombines social, technical, political and spiritual systems grounded in a planetary condition of non-belonging to the Earth and guided by the entanglement of Black, Indigenous and queer liberation theories and practices. Dennis is a co-founder of the NTU collective and initiator of the black earth study club, a network oriented toward planetary solidarity.
