Over the course of her career, Raquel Forner participated in numerous solo and collective exhibitions in Argentina and abroad. Initially linked to social themes, her work developed unique imagery evolving towards a symbolic expressionism centred around an original mythology of space. She was an active part of the Grupo de París, made up of Argentine artists who went to Europe to perfect their skills.
