Among the most significant voices in contemporary African art, the artist explores the pre-colonial past of Congo and investigates its present by observing various contemporary realities through the lens of historical memory, with particular attention to the cultural, architectural and industrial heritage of the Katanga region. In 2025 he presented his cinematic debut at Fondazione Prada, dedicated to the legacy of colonialism and the origins of the ecological crisis in his country, taken as an example and a warning of a condition affecting the whole Planet.
