Painter Ulla Wiggen chooses circuit boards, chip matrixes, and electric diagrams as subjects of her art. Some representations reveal extant connections, others are combinations of differently-sourced components, which she mixes according to her inspiration. The concepts of ‘connection’ and ‘interdependence’ are central in her creative vision – both referring to objects and to people, in an intriguing balance between figuration and abstract art.
