Through sculpture, audio, videos and installations, Tracey Snelling (Oakland, California, 1970) recreates on a smaller scale buildings she visited during her trips around the world. Far from being simple miniatures of real buildings, her works tell the culture of the place she represents, leaving much room for viewers’ imagination. This indissoluble fusion between the known and the unknown, the strange and the familiar, turns his work into a true work of art.
