Pilvi Takala’s video installation took inspiration from her experience as a security guard. Her art is about security as a concept and as an industry. It focuses on the unwritten rules that define our behaviour in this specific field. What are the boundaries of ‘acceptable’ behaviour? What happens if someone or something we consider close and akin to us threatens our safety?
