Increasingly the protagonist of international festivals, the artist’s film, in which contemporary art and the language of cinema come together, has become a real cult. The development of moving images in Italy certainly owes a leading role to Lo Schermo dell’arte – Festival of cinema and contemporary art, which since 2028 has set itself the mission of discovering emerging talents at an international level and exploring new expressive languages. Held in Florence last November, the Festival lands as it does every year in Venice, from 6 to 9 March at the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi, with a selection of documentaries dedicated to the protagonists of the art world and artists’ films.
