For lovers of contemporary music, the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi presents a new edition of ‘Long Playing’, a series of four events of the music review curated by Nicola Di Croce and Francesco Bergamo (SSH! Sound Studies Hub of the Iuav University of Venice). Those 25 minutes per side are brought back by ‘Long Playing’ to a community dimension by proposing the collective listening in a shared space of a selection of research albums on different supports, from CD to vinyl, passing through the cassette tape, with brief introductions on the proposed artists. Inaugurating the format at the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi for Spring 2025, on Monday 14 April, is the musician and composer, Iosonouncane with his latest album “IRA” (2024) published by the renewed label Numero 1 (distributed by Sony), in collaboration with the label Trovarobato. The 17-track album was written and arranged by Iosonouncane in every single part, note and inflection, starting from around 15 hours of drafts and test recordings.
