Angels, suns, and trees are recurring subjects in her multi-disciplinary artworks – installations and sculptures dedicated to intimacy, religion, life, death, and time. Their inspiration comes from personal history, the queer community, and the world of the internet – increasingly the mirror of the real one. Also peculiar is Okoyomon’s way to use plants for interesting, captivating installations that show how nature seems to want to take back spaces taken forcibly by man, distorting the right balance of power.
