Four Cameroonian artists and four international artists confront one another on the terrain of utopia and impossible dreams for the first participation of Cameroon at the Venice Art Biennale. Crypto art components and NFTs relate with the exhibition space to tell visitors stories about the Chimera, a mythological figure that, using art, elevates the spirit of man and allows him to get in touch with the Other. By imagining a plurality of different worlds, the artists acquired the power to create fantasies free from constrictions and borders, with the goal of changing one’s society and set oneself free from power play or partisan logics.
