The inauguration concert of the Squero 2022 season curated by Asolo Musica hosts Mario Brunello’s return to the Auditorium, playing the piccolo cello, engaged in the complete Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin by Johann Sebastian Bach. The pieces of the German composer are also presented through the biblical meditations of the monk Lino Breda, in the context of a sort of “biblical story” that reveals the possibility of profound links between the Sonatas and Partitas with the Holy Scriptures: paths of meaning, questions, horizons, reflections, ways of contemplating a mystery that surpasses us, then as now, more relevant than ever in the present historical context.
