2022 is the UN International Year of Glass, and Vision Milan Glass Week and The Venice Glass Week joined forces for the first international programme dedicated to industrial and art glass in Italy: The Italian Glass Weeks 2022.
The programme lists events in Milan (September 10 to 18) and Venice (Septem- ber 17 to 25) – over 250, which comprise exhibitions, studies, workshops, and obviously events at glass furnaces.
Over 150 institutions will participate, counting museums, universities, factories, art and design studios. In Milan, the focus will be on industrial glass and its design opportunities, while in Venice, the protagonist will be glass art.
