The 2023 concert season of Asolo Musica at Lo Squero opens on Saturday 4 March, organized in collaboration with the Giorgio Cini Foundation. Until December 16, 14 events, all on Saturday afternoons, punctuate a dynamic program of solo and chamber music concerts, with appointments also dedicated to the jazz scene. A world of notes, stories and suggestions ready to envelop the hall of Lo Squero, an old boat workshop with an extraordinary view of the lagoon, and to accompany the public on a journey of intense beauty, with moments of great emotion and poetry in music. Opening the program on Saturday 4 March is the Quartetto di Venezia, since 2017 “Quartet in Residence” at the Giorgio Cini Foundation in Venice. With Andrea Vio and Alberto Battiston on violin, Mario Paladin on viola and Angelo Zanin on cello, the formation proposes for 2023 the first part of the complete performance of Beethoven’s Quartets: this first appointment sees the Quartet in Eb major op. 127 and the Quartet in C major op. 59 no. 3 “Rasumovsky”.
