After the opening of the Season with the EOS Quartet in January, the main formation of chamber music returns to the fore with the English Albion Quartet, with music by Mozart, Bartók and Schubert Formed in 2016, the Albion Quartet brings together four extraordinary young soloists and English chamber musicians of established international reputation. In just three years, the four artists are already establishing themselves as one of the best string quartets of the moment. Tamsin Waley-Colin, concertmaster, ECHO Rising Stars, award-winning artist and guest of the best orchestras, was a pupil of Ruggero Ricci, who considered her the most gifted of the violinists he met in his professional life.
