Invited by Fondazione dell’Albero d’Oro, Nikos Aliagas first visited the lagoon and experienced its mysterious and fascinating appeal. A journalist and a TV and radio host, Aliagas is also a photographer. His B&W photographs explore contrasts, backlighting and movement in frames that portray straight and curved lines, such as a face or the corner of an alleyway.
