Can our future be thought of and built upon one of the most remote pages of our past? The archaeological site we are looking at is in Khirokitia, Cyprus, and dates back to 7500 BC. Researchers discovered a social structure featuring remarkable dynamics of equality, sustainability, and harmony. The curators wonder about the possibility of taking this model of prehistoric civilization as an example to define the foundations for future settlements on Mars, making a temporal and spatial leap that finally brings attention back to the present of the Earth, with particular reference to the unruly exploitation of natural resources.
