To proclaim the end of the toilet flusher, The Dry Collective produced a mockumentary set in the not-too-distant future (2043), when toilets will look quite different. At the centre of the Pavilion is a huussi, the traditional Finnish composting toilet, surrounded by plants growing on human waste-fed compost. The Finnish project challenges us to develop new solution in terms of sanitation, using irony to present the absurdity of the current use of water and fertilizers.
