With a population of over seven mil- lion people distributed across just under 3,000 square kilometers, Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated areas in the world. As the Fourth Industrial Revolution has its inten-sive impact on society by transforming its very fabric, many of Hong Kong’s institutions and its creative community evolve by working together, using the city as a “laboratory + workshop” in which to create innovative solutions aimed at facing tomorrow’s challenges. Through interactive mixed-media installations and visual essays, the exhibition offers the public a snapshot of this moment of transformation in the city, focusing in particular on the relationship between Hong Kong and China and on crucial issues such as sustainability, climate change, technology, energy and resource management.
