New South is an international platform for the practice of architectural deconstruction and reorganization of the representation and images of the global south. Its founders adopt an anthropological approach in their designs in post- and neo-colonial contexts to develop new housing solutions. The public sphere of cities is understood as an essential democratic element where civil rights activism and expression must find full and free expression. This is the cornerstone of new, open environments and a debate with political, social, linguistic, and economic forces.
