As part of the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the Luigi Nono Archive Foundation, the Giorgio Cini Foundation Institute for Music is offering a dialogue with musician Giancarlo Schiaffini, who, among his many activities, also collaborated with the Venetian composer. At the end of the conversation with Prof. Gianmario Borio, director of the Giorgio Cini Foundation’s Institute for Music, the Maestro will perform four pieces by composers with whom he has had the opportunity to collaborate and interface throughout his career: Sottile canto III by Edgar Alandia, Solo for tuba + Fontana Mix by John Cage, Luz by Domenico Guaccero, and Post-Prae-Ludium for Donau by Luigi Nono.
