As part of the exhibition Personal Structures 2022 – Reflections, presented by the European Cultural Centre, the artist Anka Landtau from Struxdorf (Schleswig-Holstein, Germany) exhibits and presents her multimedia installation The happy ones are curious – Friedrich Nietzsche (2021) to the public.
The multimedia bronze installation creates a variety of mirror refractions, attempts at reflection and questions. On Wednesday 5 October, the artist and the art association Weltkunst Angeln e.V. invite you to a public visit and reception at Palazzo Bembo, the former birthplace of Pietro Bembo (1470-1547). Art historian Verena Voigt M.A. (Potsdam, GFZK e.V.) draws a line between Anka Landtau’s productions and selected ‘reflections’ by fellow international artists such as Ana Huberman Lazovsky, Fintan Whelan, Deanna Sirlin, Gill Gatfield, Phoenix Crown Holdings Inc. (Thomas Lollar & Ricardo Arango), Georgii Uvs & Ellen Nash, Wendy Steiner, Giselle Weelgels, Xi Nan, Chen Peiper and Helen Kirwan.
