CINEMA SVIZZERO A VENEZIA #11

29 November 2022

-

4 December 2022

Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi is the seat of the Swiss Consulate in Venice and together with the Swiss foundation for culture Pro Helvetia today represents a permanent Swiss presence in Venice. The Swiss Consulate in Venice offers an annual program of conferences and readings, Swiss cinema, photographic exhibitions and online insights.
Particularly awaited and followed is the Cinema Svizzero a Venezia, now in its eleventh edition and for some years now in an autumn version which this year takes place from 29 November to 4 December, in the usual formula of free admission screenings at Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi, often enhanced by presentations and debates in the company of the same directors and actors involved in the big screen.
Ultima sfornata by Villi Hermann, Il Sergente dell’Altopiano by Federico Massa and Tommaso Brugin, Architektur der Unendlichkeit by Christoph Schaub, Unruhe by Cyril Schäublin, Wet Sand by Elene Naveriani, Becoming Giulia by Laura Kaher, Drii Winter by Michael Koch, Prinzessin by Peter Luisi, Charles mort ou vif by Alain Tanner, La dèrive des continents by Lionel Baier and Mad Heidi by Johannes Hartmann and Sandro Klopfstein are the titles featured in this year’s programme, as usual a balanced mix of stories that go from the personal to the universal, touching a vast and transversal audience and trace a plan of the Swiss directorial universe which is extremely vital and heterogeneous.
