One of the most important international singer-songwriters of our time, Damien Rice arrives at La Fenice on 11 July, brought to the public by Veneto Jazz as part of the AAVV Autori Vari Indipendenti review, in collaboration with Vigna PR, Concerto Music and Live Nation. After the release of the albums O, 9 and the most recent My Favorite Faded Fantasy, Rice takes his work around the world, always characterized by an unconventional style and a pleasure for improvisation. A unique and eclectic artist, whose nomadic life often led him to sing in the streets, traveling from city to city, but which did not preclude him from reaching the most important stages in the world, he draws his inspiration from Jeff Buckley, Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake. Damien Rice prefers to improvise on stage without having a setlist, and prefers to travel by sailboat rather than with a tour bus, for this reason he is planning another sailing tour in the Mediterranean which will start in the summer of 2023.
