As wintery wind sweeps Venice in freezing air, few things feel better than the warmth of a fireplace, however metaphorical. A beautiful old theatre is the setting for stories and legends of local lore in the voice of two exceptional hosts. A chance not to miss at the Malibran Theatre on December 15, 6pm: DUO di canti e racconti lagunari is the name of the show, with the narrating voices of author Alberto Toso Fei and singer and guitarist Giovanni Dell’Olivo, accompanied by musical performers Serena Catullo and Alvise Seggi.
An interesting experience to feel deeply Venice’s timeless beauty and a chance to do some good – proceeds will be wholly donated to Fondazione Elisa Trevisanato, a charity that helps people in need, especially women and children, in Italy and abroad.
