Having successfully archived the 2024 season dedicated to the 1920s, Musikàmera 2025 continues its journey in search of the metamorphoses of the sonata form. Tempo di sonate is the title that guides a journey through centuries of stylistic evolution, from its 18th-century roots to the most intimate 20th-century reinterpretations. Six appointments at the Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice between March and April, entrusted to leading performers and rising young talents. The proposal of Ensemble 400 moves among the refined vocal weavings of the Italian Ars Nova. On the 700th anniversary of Francesco Landini’s birth, the programme alternates his masterpieces – including Ecco la primavera and Non ara may pietà – with pieces by Antonello da Caserta and Magister Zacharias, to restore a sound fresco of the 14th century through instruments and voices faithful to historical practice.
