Maestro Giovanni Allevi, composer, pianist and conductor, an icon of contemporary classical music, after his unstoppable international solo piano tour, which sold out in all cities, returns to share his exciting art in four special concert events. Among the venues of recognised beauty chosen by the artist, on 8 July he will be at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, in the concert organised by Veneto Jazz as part of the 17th Venice Jazz Festival. Accompanied by the Orchestra Sinfonica Italiana, the composer most loved by the new generations will present the world premiere of ‘Concerto MM22 for Cello and Orchestra’, a work written during a hospital stay that takes its cue from a melody of astonishing beauty, arising from the transformation into notes of the word Myeloma, according to a mathematical method already used by Bach, and then unravelling into a poignant, anguished, rarefied, luminous and moving inner journey. For the first time in his career, Giovanni Allevi will bring the innovative use of video and lighting technology to his concerts, transforming the stage into a dreamlike, surreal scenario. Immersive projections, synchronised lighting effects and multimedia settings will create a magical and unrepeatable atmosphere, giving the audience an unforgettable experience, in which music and visual arts will merge into one powerful emotion.
