The Luigi Nono Festival returns to the Teatrino to present I film di famiglia (2018, 72′), a documentary on the years 1959-1974 from the 8mm and super 8 films of composer Luigi Nono’s family. The documentary brings to the screen travels, encounters with artistic and political figures, the Giudecca house, family, and friends. Appearing are Massimo Mila, Giuliano Scabia, Luigi Pestalozza, Yevgeny Yevtushenko, some members of The Living Theatre, Yuri Liubimov, Sviatoslav Richter, the Inti Illimani, among others. This documentary is produced by Serena Nono SBS2 in collaboration with the Luigi Nono Archive Foundation. The footage, photos and sound recordings used are held at the Luigi Nono Archive.
