A duo both on stage and in life, singer- songwriter Rebecca Martin and renowned jazz double bassist Larry Grenadier have been performing together for a quarter century. Martin’s sophisticated, expressive voice digs deep into the lyrics and pairs exceptionally well with her compositional sensitivity, accompanied by her husband’s fantastic, poetic double bass. Grenadier began playing the instrument at age ten, together with his older brothers. The three, performing as The Juveniles, played with Brad Mehldau, Joshua Redman, and Pat Metheny.
