The Lo Squero Auditorium in San Giorgio kicked off the 2024 Concert Season on 2 March, with appointments promoted by Asolo Musica. Under the artistic direction of Federico Pupo, the Season comprises 11 concerts until 7 December, presenting a variety of repertoires and interpretations of a high level. April opens on the 13th with a tribute to Gabriel Fauré, in the 100th year since his death, to whom Palazzetto Bru Zane dedicates its own monographic festival. Hawijch Elders, violin, Natanael Ferreira, viola, Aleksey Shadrin, cello, and Frank Braley, piano, will pay homage to the French composer and organist, bringing his music to life. Another quartet, this time the Quartetto di Venezia, will offer an immersion in Beethoven’s quartets, the production of which can also be discovered in two other events of the season. Formed in 2017, the Quartet in Residence at the Giorgio Cini Foundation stands out on the European music scene for its technical mastery and the strength of its interpretations.
