This year’s Artbox Expo in Venice is a take on the theme “Globalise the artworld”. On one hand, the five-month exhibition will feature art by contemporary emerging international artists. On the other, the exhibition does justice to the theme by actively integrating new technologies that contribute to globalisation, such as digitally displayed art, virtual reality, and the digital presentation of NFTs that show the effects the internet and blockchains may have on art.
