After thirty years of art work together, Bertozzi & Casoni prove once again their ability in polychrome ceramic art. Formal hyperrealism meets compositional surrealism in art that elevates this particular modern art technique. The use of colour, shiny and bright, is used on both natural subjects – mostly animals, though also plants, bones, skulls – and scrap, all the way to outright waste. These sculptures show, not without irony, a reflection on the way we live and consume, on the flowing of time and the waste we leave behind.
