The exhibition is a story, in reverse chronological order, that starts with the last paintings by Stefanini to end with the series created in the Eighties and Nineties, which in turn open a window on the emblems of the 1970s. In this losing his own way only to find it again at a later point through the decades, Stefanini immerses into a bewildering suspension of real time, a game of mirrors that reflect the lights – and the shadows – of his poetic imagery.
