An eighty-year journey into Italian cuisine: objects, images, experiences that will narrate the symbiotic relationship between Italians and food. A connection so radically changed over the last few decades that, in the intention of the curators, it can shed some light into past and present, so as to imagine what the future might hold. At the centre of this reflection is the word gusto (both ‘taste’ and ‘flavour’), representing that mix of individual pleasure, collective sharing, cultural phenomenon, and scientific sign.
