Ticino – the Italian-speaking Swiss region north of Milan – is dear to the artist, who lived there, and is the place where his inner self, his thought, and his being converged. Paper Landscapes are made of paper and suggest ideas, feelings, impressions. The exhibition is a sort of participated choreography between art and visitors. Martinez’s art is not strictly about composition and pure colour, rather, it is about metamorphosis.
