A space of art projects and site-specific installations for theatre, music, cinema, architecture, research, study, and performance: Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo turns thirty and celebrates in Venice by opening its fourth modern art and culture space. The first exhibition in town will be a personal portrait of Brazilian artist Jota Mombaça (Natal, 1991), curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist. An interdisciplinary artist, Mombaça researches and shows the relationship between monstrosity and humanity, queer studies, anticolonialism, violence redistribution, and visionary narrations.
