To celebrate their twenty-five years of business, Kunsthaus Bregenz opened a temporary hub dedicated to modern art and mutual dialogue among artists. Anna Boghiguian and Otobong Nkanga, whose art is currently exhibited at KUB, are the grantors of this ideal Bregenz-Venice bridge with two original and quite different pieces of art. The monumental, sparkling tapestry by Otobong Nkanga creates a view on the deepest sea, showing worry about environmental crises. Anna Boghiguian denounces social and political conflicts using a strange, yet extraordinary giant-sized chessboard.
