Genesis shows the research work of Lee Maelee (South Korea, 1963), focused on the deepest questions that concern human beings, history, and anything about existence and being. Her art is a medium between past, present, and future – a sort of vehicle of collective memory. The exhibition, curated by Thalia Vrachopoulos, is a collection of thirty-six paintings, showing transcripts of verses in several languages, from Genesis and other non-Christian religious sources, written in gold powder.
