An exhibition examining the debate that developed between the mid-1950s and the end of the twentieth century around the idea of “possible architecture”. The selection of materials focuses on the utopian and radical architecture movements represented by the groups Archigram, Superstudio, 9999, Archizoom, Strum, Ufo and by architects Richard Buckminster Fuller, Michele De Lucchi, Ugo La Pietra, Bernard Rudofsky, Paolo Soleri, Ettore Sottsass, the “postmodernism” of Aldo Rossi, Paolo Portoghesi and Charles Jencks, the “deconstructivism” of Rem Koolhaas and the high-tech architecture of Norman Foster.
