A personal exhibition on Mónica de Miranda, curated by Paula Nascimento and promoted by Beyond Entropy Africa and Nuova Icona. The exhibition is a collection of multimedia art, including photography, video, and an installation authored by the Angolan-Portuguese artist, whose interdisciplinary research investigates the convergence of politics, identity, gender, memory, and places as well as intricated identity-building processes. At the centre of the project is video Path to the Stars (2022), inspired by Agostinho Neto’s epic of the same name, shot along the river Kwanza, Angola’s longest.
