A Colombian artist, Murillo participated in the 2015 Biennale and was awarded the Turner Prize in 2019. He offers a large, interactive collection born of a collaboration started in 2013, Frequencies. The artist places white canvases in 350 schools in 34 countries. Students, ages 10 to 16, were invited to paint, write, and use the canvases as they pleased over six months. In total, the collection comprises over 40,000 pieces.
