The drop on the glass

The Squero review continues, between October and November Bach and Beethoven in the lagoon
di Fabio Marzari

Under the artistic direction of Francesco Pupo, the great names of classical music alternate on stage and in repertoire at the Squero, for highly emotional concerts in a place that is simply unique in the world.

The autumn programme at the beautiful Auditorium Lo Squero, where the music and the visual experience make for unforgettable memories, is rich in its chamber music offer thanks to the Auditorium’s cooperation with Asolo Musica and with art director Federico Pupo. The programme will begin on October 8, with a concert with pianist Gloria Campaner and the Quartetto di Venezia (music by Campaner herself and Debussy).

On October 22, the Quartetto di Venezia will play Cherubini and Beethoven. On November 12, Bach’s integral Sonatas and partitas for violin solo. On November 26, an homage to Belgian Romantic composer César Franck, Augusta’s company by American composer Curt Cacioppo, and Ernest Chausson’s Concert in E major.
