Are we sure of what our senses perceive? Are we living a real life or a simulation, however accurate and engaging, created by a civilization that is more technologically advanced than hours? A game, an experiment, a feat of chance? Seven female artists will try to answer these questions by reflecting on the relation between the conscience of human beings and that of the universe around us. Water as a place of birth that originates in the uterus, the ocean as a depository of pearls of perception, natural selection as a priority principle for safeguarding the environment, fractal geometry as a representation of the subconscious: Born to Love is a deep existential investigation carried out using the language of sculpture, photography, and collage.
