Twenty-five pieces, mostly made in the last decade, make up an amazing personal exhibition that explore multiple transformations – of the self, of the other, of collective identities, of struggle, of liberation, of refuge – and tell stories of wandering subjectivities permeated by some sort of magical materialism. Paintings, sculptures, video art, and paper art show an enigmatic language of ritual and repetitions, amplified by the presence of ancient religious items. Tabouret unfolds mysterious states of conscience by immersing individual identity into stronger forces.
