The Pavilion houses a transhuman vision where the elements of idyllic farm life of yore blend with strange sci-fi phenomena, depicting an eerie picture of an unsteady present. The protagonist of Uffe Isolotto’s installation is a centaur family. As we enter their hyperrealistic universe, we will meet its inhabitants, their food, their belongings. What lies, though, beyond the horizon: hope or tragedy? In a world that never stops changing, the family fights an existential and ecological struggle. What do we turn into when the world as we know it is not there anymore? Do we seek solace in what we used to be, or do we look for escape in what we might become?
