Seven large works on canvas, in shades of black, gray and white – including The Garden of Eden, 6 meters by 3.5 of color fields with a hypnotic effect – eight reflective and partially rotating stelae in satin aluminum and polished steel, a four-meter-high mirror sculpture. Heinz Mack, founder of the ZERO Group, 90 years old, goes scrutinizing the theme of light in his works. In this fascinating retrospective it does so through the principle of rotation: light in space is not only captured and returned holistically, but sometimes also dematerializes the objects themselves.
