The artists share living space in the Latvian city of Aizkraukle, which they recreate here using 300+ art objects – some new, some created over the course of the last twenty years. Ingūna Skuja and Melissa D. Braden show a multi-level map of the mental, physical, and spiritual dimension of individuality lived within the familiarity of the home. From these very personal emotions, a larger vision rises, and it traces the story of Latvia focusing on the present-day challenges that its society faces.
