Shubigi Raro (Mumbai, 1975) brings to Biennale an evolution of her decade-long work (Pulp), a collection of stories of readers, writers, printmakers, scholars, and bibliophiles that fight to preserve the book as the medium for cultural exchange. The project highlights the bravery and willpower of these characters as they work to keep forms of knowledge that the digital age risks chalking up to being obsolete and materially fragile, especially if left to little care.
