Curator Francesca Franco brings to Venice the first glass sculpture made by VeraMolnár in almost 80 years of career. Preparatory sketches, graphics and paintings on canvas document the creative process of a pioneer artist of digital and algorithmic art, who started to use these expressive forms after a long and hard traditional training. This work is the result of an extraordinary collaboration between a unique artist and a historic family of Murano glassmakers, carrying a tradition dating back to 1291 and passing down a millenary knowledge and artisan culture.
