What future do we want to wish for – both for ourselves and for our planet? The French Pavilion attempts an answer with the Ball Theater, a project that the curators call original and open. Original, because it revitalizes our vision and understanding of architecture by presenting an immersive spherical space that unites theatre and sound. Open, because in the plurality and diversity of the bodies that walk around it, the sphere acts as a place of listening and, maybe, meditation, as well as a laboratory for identity.
