The Israeli project examines the physical nature of modern communication infrastructures, highlighting how the relative lack of architectural attention given to such infrastructures contrasts the meaningful role they had over the last two centuries. The reflection focuses on the dynamics seen in the most recent development of global technology (including cloud computing) and the different power structures that they establish. The Pavilion, sealed, kept in darkness, and wrapped in mystery, becomes an element of the exhibit itself, while empty space, sound, and light come together to define the transition from analogue to digital in communication technology.
